Shane Bangerter Competes in the 2018 National Versatility Ranch Horse Association Championship

The National Versatility Ranch Horse Association’s primary objective is to provide not only an educational, but safe and fun opportunity for amateur riders to improve their horsemanship all the while still focusing on the skills a typical ranch horse would be expected to perform.  The NVRHA is a place to start for anyone interested, at any level and with any horse, but still provides an opportunity for those wanting to compete at the next level.

The NVRHA provides a place to showcase ranch horses and maintain a link among breed associations, the ranching community, professional horsemen and versatility ranch horse riders.  The NVRHA also offer classes covering skills that horses need while working on a ranch.

The 2018 National Versatility Ranch Horse Association National Championship was held September 21st, 2018 through September 23rd, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Shane competed in the amateur division with his horse, Lil Bit of Chic, snagging 2nd place.   This and more information about the National Versatility Ranch Horse Association can be found by visiting their website at www.nvrha.org.
